ABOUT US
University of Georgia Student-Athletes
CSS is operated by members of the University of Georgia Women's Soccer team. We decided to start CSS to expand the endless community services opportunities at the University of Georgia.
Have Questions?
CSS is an extremely flexible volunteer program and is never limiting. If you have any questions, community services ideas, or opportunities, don't hesitate to reach out! No matter who you are, or what you do, we would love to hear from you and will be quick to answer. Contact any of our board members to help us impact our elderly community.
WHAT IT MEANS TO BE PART OF CSS
"The elderly at Iris place have allowed us to gain so much wisdom. Many of the student-athlete and resident one on one interactions have provided opportunities to share invaluable experiences. It is humbling to be a volunteer at CSS because our work allows us to look back and greatly appreciate how much the residents of Iris Place, and the rest of the elderly community, have paved a pathway of success for our generation. Whether we are decorating for events, going on walks, playing bingo/board games, or simply having conversation, having the opportunity to see the resident faces light up with appreciation and love with the little things we do is heart warming. The elderly find so much joy in the little things and bring a great amount of much joy to each volunteers life."
